As a Scout First Aid Team (part of Eastbourne District East Sussex) we are required to be self funding, which means all our vehicles and equipment have to be paid for by Scouting activities that use us, members donations or fundraising.

All monies raised are used to support Scouting both locally here in Sussex and Internationally through the Jamborees we attend. The Team regularly provides services to International Scout Jamborees in the UK at a county level, as well as providing equipment & staff for Eurojam in 2005 and the World SCout Jamboree this year in Hylands Park Essex.

In the past we have purchased two Oxygen Therapy kits, two Entonox pain relieving gas kits, two Pulse Oximeters and an Emergency Aspirator. This has cost us over £2000 to provide. We are currently raising money for an AED portable Defibrillator.
